Nebe Praha

Prague Nightlife clubs Nebe Praha

Address:

Wenceslas Square 802/56,
Prague 1

Happy Hours:

everyday until 21:00
A large club with 2 bars located on two floors and a spacious dance floor. Many great drinks for reasonable prices. There are usually lots of tourists inside. However, service is not that good (and that’s why we personally prefer other clubs – even though everything else is great).
TIP: order drinks directly from the bar! Don’t wait for a waiter – you might wait forever.

Cafe 80’s

Prague-Nightlife-clubs-Cafe-80s

Address:

V Kolkovně 6,
Prague 1

Happy hours:

unfortunately there are no happy hours yet
(see their website for more info)
Just a few steps away from the Old Town Square, a perfectly located bar has opened last year. If you’d like to party like it’s 1980’s in affordable and and easy-going venue spread over two floors, this is where you should go.You will see a restaurant as you enter the club but it’s not that good (just an average food).
TIP: get a drink at a bar named Tretter’s which is located just cross the street first. It’s a great bar with wonderful coctails and superb bartenders who will help you to choose something you’d like. Then go and party at Cafe 80’s.

James Dean Prague

V Kolkovně 1
Prague 1

Happy hours:

(see their drink menu for more info on pricing)
A very stylish club with a restaurant located on its ground floor. Go back to the 50s! With jukeboxes, images of Marilyn Monroe and James Dean, their staff dressed in retro clothes, a slightly above average food and good music.
TIP: eat something smaller in their restaurant first – they did a really great work with the interior!

Roxy Prague

Prague Nightlife clubs Roxy

Address:

Dlouhá 33
Prague 1

Happy hours:

unfortunately there are no happy hours yet
(see their drink menu for more info on pricing)
Roxy is one of Prague’s oldest and best-known clubs, and over the years has attracted big name DJ’s as well as bands. The slightly dilapidated interior and big open spaces gives Roxy more of a warehouse feel than a modern club, the rawness of it fitting the style of music. The dance floor is large, and there is cool lighting and video projections.

Bars

Alcohol in Prague is much cheaper compared to other European cities.
That’s why we only recommend bars where you can get the best drinks and coctails in Prague!

Bugsy’s Bar

Prague-Nightlife-clubs-Bugsy's

Address:

Pařížská 10
Prague 1
(entrance from Kostečná st.)
Many locals say this it the best bar in Prague and they seem to be true. Bartenders are very nice and attentive. Once inside, you can expect great and relaxing atmosphere. So if you want to taste the best drinks and coctails in Prague, this is the right place. We ‘ve never heard of anyone (including both locals and tourists) saying they didn’t have a wonderful experience here.
Coctails prices start at € 4 and the average price is under € 6. A price for a glass of whisky starts at € 3 so really not a big deal.
TIP: they also have a large variety of great cigars.

Tretter’s Bar

Prague Nightlife bars Tretter's

Address:

V kolkovně 3
Prague 1
Tretter´s bar – it is a style music, period photographs and interior immersed into deep red colour. All these things together evoke a feeling and atmosphere of  New York of thirties of previous century. Many guests from the world of politics, commerce, modelling and artists come here to extend their day.
Service is great and bartenders make you feel like they really love their job. We, as well as many locals, really like it here. It’s like going back in time.

Hemingway Bar

Prague Nightlife bars Hemingway

Address:

Karolíny Světlé 26
Prague 1
A very good and stylish bar. However the place got so popular lately there’s often a waiting list. Because you could wait for more than an hour, we recommend to make a reservation (even if you come here at 23:00, it’s always full) at +420 773 974 764.
NOTE: keep in mind that this bar has its rules that need to be followed.
Bar rules:
1. Each guest will be seated. The bartender will gladly show you to a suitable place to sit.
2. Do not move the furniture or change seats. If you do not like where you are sitting, tell the bartender, who will reseat you if possible.
3. Do not talk loudly (i.e. do not shout or make a noisy scene).
4. Speak politely and do not use vulgar language.
5. Do not talk to other guests that you do not know; respect their privacy.
6. If you want to buy somebody a drink, please ask the bartender first. He will find out if that person is interested in your offer.
7. Do not use a computer in the bar. We will be happy to recommend an internet café.
8. As we want our guests to feel comfortable, the moment there is no place to sit, we are full and cannot allow more people into the bar.
9. Guests seated in the non-smoking section who would like to smoke must leave their drinks inside and go outside in front of the bar to smoke.
10. Respect the instructions of the bar staff at all times.

Cloud 9 Sky Bar

Prague-Nightlife-clubs-9-Cloud-Skybar

Address:

Hilton Prague
Pobřežní 1
Prague 8
This rooftop bar located on the roof of Hilton’s Hotel offers a fabulous view of the city of Prague. You can also order a food or a bar snack here. On the other hand, the service is not usually that outstanding but overall it’s still one of the best bars in Prague.

Pubs

It’s true that in Prague, good beer — and oten amazingly great beer — is on just about every corner. We’ve chosen pubs and restaurants where the best one is.
When it comes to the question of price, even in Prague’s most expensive pubs, good beer remains very afordable, compared to biggest cities in Europe
(the beer in Prague is actually even cheaper than some of our pro travel guides).

We know Hard Rock Café isn’t a typical Czech pub, but tourists love it here so much we put it on the first position. Beer served here is great but about a little more expensive than in other Prague pubs. Rest is typical what you would expect from a Hard Rock Café: great (but unhealthy) food, quick and friendly service & large portions.
There’s one more reason we put Hard Rock Café on the top of this list: it’s considered to be the best-looking Hard Rock Café in Europe and it’s also one of the largest in the world.

Pilsner Urquell Beer is the favorite Czech beer and here you will get the one that tastes the best in Prague. The beer you can order here is draught straight from the tanks via the shortest route into the pint glass, where it remains fresh until the last sip. There are three variations of this typical Pilsner beer – “slice”,  “sweet” and “creme”. If you want an unfiltered beer, you can get the Kozel Beer in one of three variations. You can also enjoy great and very affordable typical Czech cuisine in this pub. The food is homemade and freshly prepared. This pub’s decor is typical for old Czech pubs (even though this pub is new and clean) and we’ve gotta say that locals love it here. Also the location is great – just 5 minutes from the Old Town Square.
Price for 0,5l (a large pint glass) is 1,6.

The bar is located in the industrial park in Vršovice. The austere interior, reflecting the surrounding industrial environment, is dominated by the bar made of sandstone with a sizable tap tower. The simple premises are divided into a bar, a seating area upstairs and a lounge. The establishment focuses on rare beers. It offers beer tasting and presentations about new Czech and foreign breweries.
